Sanako Guides
In this section, I'll be putting up different guides on how to use Sanako. Most of the guides cover commonly used features of Sanako. This page will be a work in progress as I slowly add different guides on how to use Sanako, complete with pictures! If you have any suggestions on what kind of Sanako guide you would like to see, please feel free to email me! At any time you want to return to this page, click on the "Sanako Guides" button to the left. You might notice that some of the guides have "sub-guides" beneath them. These mini-guides are related to the main guide but in some cases you might not use them so I made them into sub-guides.
- Changing group types - Changing a student's workstation from one group(Ex: Group L) to another group(Ex: Group A).
- Communication - This isn't really a guide. This section just describes what communication forms you have available to you and your students.
- All Call - This guide will teach you how to speak with all the students in the class at the same time.
- Chat - In this guide, you will learn how to initiate a chatroom-like feature with your students.
- Group Call - Similar to the "All Call" feature, but in this guide, you'll learn how to talk to a group of students instead of a whole class.
- Group Conference - If you would like to create a group consisting of more than 4 people, then you might want to look at this guide.
- Intercom - Sometimes you just want to speak to one student or a paired group. Learn how to do that in this guide.
- Message Box - Instead of using your voice, you can send out a text box with your message either to a single student or a group. Learn how to do that here.
- Phone Conversation - This guide will teach you how to use the telelphone feature of Sanako allowing your students to "call" another student's workstation to initiate a conversation.
- Pairing - Pairing your students up with another student.
- Adding to a pair - If you want to add another student to an already existing pair, this guide will help you do that.
- Cancelling a pair - Learn how to cancel an already existing pair or remove a student from one.
- Recording - Recording your students' voices.
- Saving the Recordings - Most teachers will want to save their students' recordings after they've recorded their conversation. This guide will teach you how to do that.
- Remote Access - Learn how to remotely access any student's screen from your screen.
